The Traditional Approach
Prisoners at the Walls unit in Huntsville, Texas exit to the prison yard for the one-hour of recreation they are allowed per day. Prisoners at the maximum security unit are allowed one hour free time, one half hour for lunch, and spend the rest of their time in their cells.
