Women pray at the holy pilgrimage site of Ashabul-Kafe. Presently located in the Azeri republic of Nakhichevan, near the Iranian border, the revered site is a complex of intricate cave formations. Since the end of the sixth century, the caves were famous for providing shelter to refugees. Since its mention in the Koran, it became a holy place for the Muslim pilgrims.
